I am offering an up-to 18 months post-doctoral position in population genomics (the link gives you the description in English). The position is located in Montpellier, on the IRD campus. This project will tackle the challenge of population genomics of transposon dynamics, building on Nanopore resequencing data (about 50 samples at 30-60x depth, N50 between 10 and 25kb, already available at the start), deep learning and population genetics methods – described here –, and genome annotation that you will contribute obtaining through RNAseq, methylation assays, and ATAC/MOA-seq.
